Therapy is a journey. To ensure you find the support to embark on this transformation we would arrange a suitable time for a free 20-minute telephone consultation, this would be a confidential space that gives you the opportunity to discuss any questions you may have. It would also be beneficial for me to learn about how I can support you and what you hope to gain from counselling.

The first session gives us an opportunity to exchange information and learn more about you. The session gives us a chance to explore further from the free telephone consultation in more depth and discuss any concerns or issues that maybe a contributing factor to bring you to therapy.

I ensure anything we discuss in the sessions is confidential, it is my duty to ensure I take your privacy seriously and abide by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). There may be some exemptions if there is risk of serious harm to you or anyone else.

I offer short- and long-term sessions, these sessions are 50 minutes for individuals and 75 minutes for couples. Sessions are usually the same time weekly or fortnightly for continuity and progression. The number of sessions is client led. If you are experiencing financial difficulties, I offer limited concession sessions please feel free to email me to discuss further.

Yes, I also work remotely, if you unable to attend in person sessions or would prefer to have sessions online we can arrange this. The platforms I use are Zoom, Microsoft teams and Google meet.

I offer counselling sessions in English, Hindi, and Urdu.

I understand that sometimes plans change and you may not be able to attend a session. If this happens, please give as much notice as possible. A minimum of 48 working hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session. Any cancellations or changes made within 48 working hours of the scheduled appointment will be charged at the full session rate. Please note that rescheduling within the 48-hour window is treated as a cancellation, and the session fee remains payable in full. This policy is in place to protect the time I reserve specifically for you and to ensure the sustainability of my practice.
